Neil Young on solo tour
After having recorded a new solo album with U2 producer Daniel Lanois and Mark Howard, Neil Young went on tour to promote "Twisted Road". Mark Howard, responsible for the sound and stage, is part of the very small team that Neil took on the road this time. Commanding the attention of a 3,000-seat theater with nothing but yourself and a collection of your favorite instruments is a tough gig. Many have tried. Few have passed the yawn test. Neil Young has passed it repeatedly, however.
On Wednesday, May 19th, he turned a sold-out Shea’s into his living room. It was as if he’d invited us over for a cookout and around-the-campfire jam session. Of course, it’s not often that one finds oneself invited to a backyard party at the home of one of the rock era’s finest songwriters. The tour throughout the USA will be completed end of June. (see dates at neilyoung.com)

The Peterson's on tour in Australia
megabien house band members Ricky and Billy Peterson are taking brother Paul, nephew Jason Peterson Delaire and Sheila E. on tour throughout Australia. The Petersons brothers who join forces with Sheila E. for this "Propostrophy Tour" have all played and recorded with Prince before, except Billy Peterson, bass player for the Steve Miller Band for over 25 years. For lover's of real good funky music "made in Minneapolis" this is a "must see".
The tour takes place between the 19th and 26th of May. There might be some dates in France and Spain later this year, stay tuned....
